Alright Im back and on rumor control here. To put rumors to rest, Jessica never dated Tony Romo, the Dallas Cowboys quarterback, he is happily going out with Carrie Underwood. On to other things……

Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey have finally settled their financial assets once and for all. The once adorable newlywed couple have filed documents at the Los Angeles County Superior Court and signed a “written stipulation” regarding their financial situation.

The couple divorced in June but it was only now that they were able to reach an agreement on their financial matters. TMZ first reported that Jessica took care of the money in the family, making $36 million during their never-lasting marriage. Jessica never signed a pre nup, so under California law each were entitled to get $18 million each. However, Jessica wasn’t willing to budge and only offered her ex-husband $1.5 million. But he flatly told her she was crazy for offering him such a measly amount. Under the new established agreement, Nick will receive “significantly” more than $1.5 but nowhere near $18 million. However we will never know the real amount, they both have agreed to not disclose that information.

The couple hosted a New Year’s Eve party at New York’s Hudson Hotel with a bunch of friends. This was the first public acknowledgment of a relationship between Simpson and Mayer who have been denying since August that they are dating. Well, Im glad that she had fun, seriously Nick was.
