Jessica Simpson appeared on the Rachael Ray show back in December 2006. She showed up to surprise a fan of hers. It was really great how excited the fan was. The girl looked like she was about to have a heart attack when Rachael told her she was going to meet Jessica Simpson. Jessica looked gorgeous as usual. Love her hair!! It was a quick appearance, but you have to appreciate that she’d make a fan’s day like that. Jessica had a bit of a blond moment trying to find the stage.

Jessica Simpson and boyfriend John Mayer are taking their show on the road. The new couple was spotted in Miami loading into Mayer’s tour bus.

Mayer will be performing in Jacksonville on the 25th, and Jessica Simpson is going along for the ride. Just a few months ago, Jessica weathered a media backlash for her then publicist’s mistake of going public with the Mayer romance and then denying it. Now Jess is on board and on the bus.

Jessica has learned a lot about herself from all the pain and heartache of 2006. Jessica said, “Everything that happened last year made me realize what I want from life and what’s important. I’ve learned so much about myself and I’ve taken on a whole new perspective. This time last year, I really thought I knew myself completely. But I didn’t at all. I was in this place where I wasn’t going up or down or figuring anything out. Jessica started to cry after she finished the song she was performing during the Kennedy Center Honors. Jess was on stage to sing Nine to Five as part of the tribute to Dolly Parton, one of the evening’s five honorees. Jessica ended her performance abruptly with the words “so nervous” and quickly exited the stage. The stunned audience remained silent, giving her no applause. Jessica Simpson has been left reeling by rumors a sex tape starring her is about to be leaked onto the internet. The alleged X-rated home movie is said to show her and Nick Lachey engaged in a number of sex acts.A source told Britain’s Daily Sport newspaper: “Jessica is horrified her name and sex tape are being mentioned in the same sentence. Jessica has been offered her first lead role in new film, Blonde Ambition. Jess is and excited delighted with her part in the film, which is apparently inspired by the 1980s film Working Girl starring Sigourney Weaver. Jessica told Empire, “It’s definitely the theme of Working Girl. This small-town girl moving to New York City and rising up into this great career as a businesswomen…But it’s definitely not a remake.”

Jessica Simpson is now rumored to be going out with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo. Tony admitted that he had a crush on Jess and once Jessica’s reps heard about it they called them up to set up a date. Since then they are now rumored to be going out. Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Terrell Owens was asked about the couple on his radio show and Owens joked that maybe he and Romo can double-date with Jessica and Ashlee. So he’s the only confirmations of this rumor so I don’t know if it’s exactly true yet.

So I now know what Blonde Ambition is all about. MTV reported that Luke Wilson will be joining Jess, for everyone who isn’t familiar with him he was in Legally Blonde 2: Red, White, and Blonde, anyways it’s a loose remake of the 1988 Melanie Griffith classic Working Girl. “It’s going to be Jessica Simpson’s next film,” said producer Justin Berfield. It’s basically about a young woman’s journey into the corporate empire. She starts at the bottom and works her way to the top.” Andy Dick may play an evil secretary. Sounds good, I bet Jess will be amazing in it.
